Marbo, bit of an update.

Just a bit of an update, just have Marbo blue tacked together at the moment to get an idea of where im going with the model. Im hoping it looks alright. The base is almost done, i have glued sand on it and waiting for it to dry, before i add a watered down pva coat over the top.

Marbo

Decided to run Marbo in my 1250pts list. So here is work in progress shots, mainly blue tacked together atm. The first pictue has bits and pieces im using for him, with the demo charge up the front.

Dont worry there will be more work soon. Im busy with my final semester of uni and probably wont really get back into the guard until november. Ponderings for the day was a praetorian marbo, havent used the character in the game, so not sure on whether it is of any use. Still musing on my next 250pts worth, looking at a chimera, two commissars and five stormtroopers or marbo or even rough riders.

But still i need to actually add all the proper sgt models to my infantry squads, now that the rules dont allow them lasguns. Im one sgt short which i have a bid on one on ebay and a bugler model i want to add to my command section for a vox caster, 6 hours to go.

Well here is my 1000pts worth of praetorians completed so far.

Squad 3 and Demolisher finished.

Well finally got around to finishing my 1000pts worth of guard. I have completed the third squad from platoon 2 and the demolisher. Although i am tempted to add some chipping to the track areas on the hull, but not to sure how to do it properly.

Update: Hellhound

Well its been along time between posts. Ive managed to pretty much complete my hellhound. I almost have 1000pts compltely painted the only things left to paint are the demolisher and one 10 man infantry squad. The 1000pt list ive been running has been pretty tough and so far i have 1 win and 2 draws. I have a 2000pts tournament coming up in april and cant decide to take these guys or repaint most of my black legion and take them instead.
